Mycophenolate - MPA exhibits a cytostatic effect on T and B lymphocytes. It is an inhibitor of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH)which inhibits denovo guanosine nucleotide synthesis. T and B lymphocytes are dependent on this pathway for proliferation.Formulation Strength:

Directions
Oral: Administer on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after food to avoid variability in absorption
Shake suspension well before use; may be administered via a nasogastric tube ( minimum: 8 french , 1.7 mm interior diameter )
