Key Ingredients:

Spironolactone - competes with aldosterone for receptors sites in the distal renal tubule, increasing sodium chloride and water excretion while conserving potassium and hydrogen ions; may block effect of aldosterone on arteriolar smooth muscles as well.

Formulation Strength:

Spironolactone Suspension 2.5mg/ml

PEDIATRIC ORAL

• Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)
• Edema ( diuresis)
• Hypertension
• Treatment of primary aldosteronism caused by adrenal hyperplasia

Oral : May be taken with or without food
