Loperamide - Acts directly on circular and longitudinal intestinal muscles, through opioid receptor, to inhibit peristalis and prolong transit time; reduces fecal volume, increaes viscosity and diminishes fluid & electrolyte loss; demonstrate antisecretary activity. Loperamide increase tone on anal sphincter.

Loperamide Syrup 1mg/5ml

PEDIATRIC ORAL

• Treatment of acute diarrhea including traveler's diarrhea
• Chronic diarrhea; secondary to intestinal failure, short-bowel syndrome or other noninfectious causes.

Oral: Drink plenty of fluids to helps prevent dehydration
