Ketamine Solution - Produces a cataleptic like state in which patient is dissociated from surrounding enviroment by direct action on cortex & limbic system, it is noncompetitive NMDA receptors antagonist that blocks glutamate, low dose produces analgesia, & mudulate central sensitization, hyperalgesia & opioid tolerance. Reduces polysynaptic spinal reflexes.
