Antitubercular Agent

Key Ingredients:

Ethambutol Hydrochloride- suppresses mycobacteria multiplication by interfering with RNA synthesis.

Formulation Strength:

Ethambutol Hydrochloride Suspension 20mg/ml

Pediatric Oral:

• Treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis and other mycobacterial diseases in conjunction with other antituberculosis agents.
• Congenital tuberculosis, in combination with other drugs.
• Tuberculosis, active treatment (excluding meningitis).
• Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) in HIV-exposed/-positive.

Oral : Administer with or without food ; if GI upset occurs, administer with food . Administer atleast 4 hours before aluminum hydroxide.
