Antihypertensive- Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitor

Key Ingredients:

Enalapril Maleate- Enalapril-prevents converion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor: result in lower levels of angiotensis II which causes an increase in plasma renin activity and a reduction in aldosterone secretion.

Formulation Strength:

Enalapril Maleate Suspension 1mg/ml

Pediatric Oral:

• Management of mild to severe hypertension.
• Treatment of congestive heart failure.
• Proteinuria in nephritis/ nephrotic syndrome.
• Diabetes nephropathy.

Limit salt substitutes or potassium-rich diet. May administer without regard to food.
