Key Ingredients:

Dexamethasone - Dexamethasone-Decreases inflammation by suppression of neutrophil migration, decreased production of inflammatory mediators, and reversal of increased capillary permeability; suppresses normal immune response.

Formulation Strength:

Dexamethasone Suspension: 1mg/ml

Pediatric Oral:

• Physiological replacement.
• Primarily as an anti-iflammatory or immunosuppresent agent in the treatment of a variety of diseases including allergic, dematologic, endocrine, hematologic, Inflammatory, neoplastic, nervous system, renal, respiratory, rheumatic, and auto immune origin.
• Mild croup/ severe croup.
• Bronchopulmonary dysplasia, facilitation of ventilator wean.
• Acute mountain sickness (AMS) (moderate)/high altitude cerebral edema (HACE).
• Airway edema or extubation.
• Anti-inflammatory
• Asthma exacerbation
• Cerebral edema
• Chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, prevention.
• Congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
• Croup (laryngotracheobronchitis)

May be taken with meal ( oral dosage administer with meal or milk) to decrease GI upset. May need diet with increased potassium, pyridoxine,vitamin C, vitamin D, folate, calcium, and phosphorus.
