Antihypertensive- Diuretic, Potassium- Sparing

Key Ingredients:

Amiloride Hydrocholride- interferes with the potassium /sodium exchange (active transport) in the distal tubule, cortical collecting tubule, and collecting duct by inhibiting sodium, potassium-ATPase; decreases calcium excretion; increase magnesium loss.

Formulation Strength:

Amiloride Suspension 1mg/ml

For Pediatric Oral :

• Pediatric hypertension
• Adjunct to thiazide or loop diuretics for oedema in heart failure, and hepatic disease ( where potassium conservation desirable)
• Nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, conginital.

Take with food and meals to avoid GI upset. Do not use salt substitutes or low salt milk without checking with your healthcare provider; too much potassium can be harmful as too little.
